| Typhoid is an acute intestinal infection caused by the bacterium Salmonella Typhi, which is spread primarily through contaminated water or food. Typical symptoms include persistent high fever, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, and in severe cases, intestinal perforation or sepsis. Early diagnosis is essential for treatment, prevention and control, and rapid typhoid test kit products have become an important tool because of their easy operation and rapid results (15-30 minutes). Hysen offers the following typhoid fever test kit: —Typhoid IgG/IgM Rapid Test (Whole blood/Serum/Plasma)/(Serum/Plasma) Detects IgM/IgG antibodies in the blood and is indicated for screening in the mid to late stages of the disease. |

1.Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. 2.For Whole Blood, Serum or Plasma specimens: Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 2 drops of specimen (or approximately 50 ul) to the specimen well (S) of the test device, then add 1 drop of buffer and start the timer. For Fingerstick Whole Blood specimens: To use a capillary tube: Fill the capillary tube and transfer approximately 50 ul (or 2 drops) of fingerstick whole blood specimen to the specimen well (S) of the test device, then add 1 drop of buffer and start the timer. 3.Wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read results at 10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 20 minutes. |

—Typhoid Antigen Rapid Test (Feces)
Direct detection of Salmonella typhi antigens in feces aids in early diagnosis.
Assay Procedure
1.Using a piece of tissue paper, remove the tip of the dilution tube. Hold the tube vertically and dispense 3 drops of solution into the specimen well (S) of the test device.
Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well (S), and do not drop any solution in observation window.
As the test begins to work, you will see color move across the membrane.
2.Wait for the colored band(s) to appear. The result should be read at 10 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
