The Toxo IgG Rapid Test Kit is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of IgG anti-Toxoplasma Gondii (T. gondii) in human serum or plasma. It offers an efficient on-site testing solution for preconception screening, blood donor assessment, and immune function evaluation. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, standardized operation and correct interpretation are essential. This article provides a clear and detailed step-by-step guide for using the kit, along with instructions for result interpretation, helping users master the entire testing process properly.
Step-by-Step Operating Guide
1.Preparation
· Bring the test kit, specimen, and buffer to room temperature prior to testing.
· Ensure all components are within their expiration dates.
2.Specimen Collection
· Collect venous blood in a sterile tube and separate serum or plasma as soon as possible.
3.Testing Procedure
· Place the test cassette on a flat, clean surface.
· Use the provided dropper to add 10 μL of serum/plasma into the sample well.
· Immediately add 2 drops of buffer into the same well.
4.Incubation
· Wait for 15 minutes for the colored lines to appear. Do not interpret results after 20 minutes.
Result Interpretation:

- · Positive Result: Two colored lines (control line and test line) indicate the presence of TOXO IgG antibodies.
- · Negative Result: Only the control line appears, indicating no detectable TOXO IgG antibodies.
- · Invalid Result: No control line appears. Repeat the test with a new kit.
Precautions:
-
· For in vitro diagnostic use only. Do not use after the expiration date.
-
· Do not smoke, drink, or eat in areas where specimens or kits reagents are handled.
-
· Follow local regulations for disposal of used kits and biological specimens.
-
· Bring all reagents to room temperature (15℃-30℃) before use.
