PRINCIPLE

The Cardiac Troponin I Rapid Test Cassette is a diagnostic tool that uses a membrane based immunoassay to detect cardiac Troponin I (cTNI) in human whole blood, serum or plasma samples. The test involves the immobilization of capture reagent in the test line region of the cassette, which then reacts with anti-cTNI antibody coated colloid gold particles in the test. This mixture of the specimen and the gold particles migrates chromatographically along the test and interacts with the immobilized capture reagent. A positive result is indicated by the appearance of a colored line in the test line region, while a negative result is indicated by the absence of a colored line in this region. Furthermore, a colored line will always appear in the control line region, indicating that the cassette has functioned correctly. The Cardiac Troponin I Rapid Test Cassette is an effective and easy to use diagnostic tool that can aid in the early detection of myocardial infarction with accurate results provided within minutes.
